Brief Introduction: Riccardo Patriarca is Associate Professor of Industrial Systems Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. He holds a BSc in Aerospace Engineering, an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering, and a PhD (Doctor Europaeus) in Industrial and Management Engineering (2017), focused on resilience and safety management for complex socio-technical systems.
He has conducted research with Lund University on resilience in aviation and maritime operations, worked at Eurocontrol on airspace safety performance, and served as PostDoc and tenured faculty at Sapienza. His current work spans resilience engineering, risk and safety management, logistics, and reliability in industrial plants, air traffic management, transportation systems, and critical infrastructures. He also contributes to aiComply, a Sapienza spin-off in risk and compliance management.
Riccardo has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications, serves on editorial boards of leading journals (Safety Science, Reliability Engineering & System Safety, among others), and reviews for more than 80 journals. His achievements include the Royal Aeronautical Society Young Person Award (2017), National Academic Qualification as Associate Professor (2018), Premio Italia Giovane (2019), and recognition in Forbes “30 under 30” (Science & Healthcare, 2019).                               

Prof. Norhayati Binti Zakuan, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia

Brief Introduction: Norhayati Zakuan is Professor at the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Quality) from UTM, and an MSc in Engineering and Manufacturing Management from Coventry University, UK.

With over 15 years of industry experience at Mitsubishi Electric Malaysia and COLAB Printing Ltd. (UK), she brings strong practical expertise to academia. She has published more than 100 WOS and Scopus-indexed papers, and her research focuses on Quality Engineering, Sustainable Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Risk Management, and Supply Chain Management.

She has also led consultancy projects in ISO 9001, risk management, talent management, and sustainable development goals for government and private organizations.

Prof. Intakhab Alam Khan, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia

Brief Introduction: Intakhab Alam Khan is Full Professor of Education/Pedagogy at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Visiting Professor at Samarkand State University, Uzbekistan. With nearly 30 years of academic experience, he has previously served at Jamia Millia Islamia (India) and Jazan University (KSA).

He has authored 18 books and over 95 research papers, covering education foundations, planning, administration, applied linguistics, and professional English. His curriculum development spans educational management, communication skills, leadership, and specialized English for medical and technical fields. He also designed an online course for special needs learners, currently taught at the International Islamic University, Gambia.

Prof. Khan has presented at international conferences across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and completed advanced training in London. He serves as editor or reviewer for more than 45 educational journals worldwide, and has led nine funded projects at King Abdulaziz University. His works have reached over 590,000 readers on ResearchGate and been cited more than 2,000 times on Google Scholar.

His contributions have earned multiple awards and recognition, including his influential book on peace, philosophy, and education, widely referenced in universities.     

Assoc. Prof. Roslina Ismail, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia

Brief Introduction: Roslina Ismail (Lyne Ismail) is Deputy Dean for Research and Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty of Creative Arts, University of Malaya, and lectures in Visual Studies. She holds a PhD in Engineering (Nanotechnology), MSc in Advanced Materials (University of Malaya), MFA in Fine Arts and Technology (UiTM), and a BSc in Chemistry (UMIST, UK). She is also an Allied Research Fellow at UKM’s Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics, researching microelectronic packaging and solder technology.

Her dual career in science and art bridges disciplines, exploring abstraction as a visual language to connect intuition and logic. Since 2017, she has actively exhibited in Malaysia’s art scene, with works themed on birth, parallel worlds, and micro landscapes. She founded the Sphaera Incubation Program, fostering collaboration between artists and scientists for imaginative research.

Assoc. Prof. Norbayah Mohd Suki, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia

Brief Introduction: Norbayah Mohd Suki is Associate Professor at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Kuala Lumpur Campus, ranked among the World’s Top 5% Scientists by SciRank Global and listed in the AD Scientific Index for Educational Technology.

Her interdisciplinary research bridges human experience and technology, focusing on creative multimedia, digital humanism, user research, digital culture, animation, and educational technology. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed works indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.

She is a certified Professional Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), and holds memberships in IACSIT, EAI, MRM, MIM, and CCIG. As an academic leader, she has supervised PhD candidates, served as examiner, reviewer, TPC member, and invited international speaker. She is the recipient of multiple national and global academic excellence awards.
